In the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, Frank Isola writes “the arduous task for coach Mike D’Antoni and Knicks president Donnie Walsh is to try to reestablish a winning culture at the Garden. The Knicks play and act like a team that has suffered through seven straight losing seasons. ‘They want hope,’ D’Antoni said following the team’s morning practice at Skidmore College. ‘They are good basketball players and somewhere they played very well. They want to be a cohesive group. They want to believe in something. My job is to keep them there. Keep them focused. Even if we lose four in a row you’ve got to be able to overcome that. You can’t become negative.’”
