According to ESPN.com, Shaquille O’Neal, Phoenix Suns center, reported to News 13 in Orlando, FL that he plans on retiring from basketball in the near future. “My basketball career will be over in 735 days,” reported Shaq. When asked about his future career plans, he responded “being an educated man, I’ve always had things to fall back on. So one of my options is law enforcement.”

Most NBA fans will remember the rap incident with Shaq a few months ago. Controversy arose after rapping “I’m a horse. Kobe ratted me out. That’s why I’m getting divorced. He said Shaq gave a bitch a mil’. I don’t do that ’cause my name’s Shaquille.” He finished the rap with “Kobe, tell me how my ass taste,” saying it numerous times. You can check out the video here below:

Because of the “Kobe Rap Diss”, Shaq was forced to turn in his badge. Hopefully he’ll be able to find a job within the criminal justice field. Although Shaq can be a bully to players and sometimes his teammates, he’s contributed very much to the basketball world.
